The youngest of a family of three children, Alexandra Tanase is a student of Theology at the St. Tereza’s Roman Catholic Institute of Theology in Bucharest. The chaplain and head teacher at St. Iosif’s school where she attended high school recommended her highly for this award based upon her strength of character, serious study habits, and deep commitment to further studies. She graduated third in her high school class with honors in Bible Study, and was the highest scorer on the entrance exam to St. Tereza’s.

In addition to her academic performance and dedication, Alexandra is involved in a social project in her parish, visiting the children’s hospital, spending time with the elderly, and distributing things for Caritas in the neighborhood.

She aspires to attain a Doctorate in Theology.
